A Night @ Sentosa!

it's a Friday, dunno where to go after work... i suggested Sentosa & CC suggested Botanical Gardens. Hah! In the end, we decided Sentosa! =D Well, never been to Sentosa at this type of timing.. not sure if there are places for us to visit, play or see =p (AJ: hmm.. whatever la~ just go & experience the night of Sentosa!) Packed my bag & i'm ready to go!!! *Weee!*

left office at about 1815 hrs & waited for cab. saw beverly, gave her a lift to vivo city (NEL) & we make our way to the Sentosa train station (AJ: it's my first time riding in it!) the train ticket cost S$3 for adult/child, bought & proceeded to wait for the train. the train arrived, doors opened.. & people just rushed in (AJ: well, not typical Singaporeans this time~ =x) like never ride on a train before like that. anyway, the scenary throughout the journey was nothing special (AJ: guess it's because of the construction of the upcoiming IR) yet it was quite an experience for me as it is my first time entering Sentosa riding on the new train service!

finally, arrived at Beach station... the feeling was so different! The air was a mixture of warm & cool & there were alot of people sitting around, walking around on the island & the show on 'Song of the Sea' just started (AJ: didn't know Sentosa still so happening at this hour!)~ cc & i boarded the tram, touring around siloso beach & enjoying the breeze ;) & we took many self-taken photographs (AJ: it was cool~)

it's dinner time! decided to eat jap again.. *LOL* (AJ: original intention is to eat jap at Sentosa) but this time round, teppanyaki =P walked into jap restaurant by APEX Pal 'Rong' Sakae IZAKAYA & we ordered the teppanyaki & sashimi buffet menu... S$29++/ pax (AJ: there goes my intensive diet plan) forsaking my painstaking diet effort =( we had sashimi, chawanmushi, garlic rice, teppanyaki ika, beef, mixed mushrooms & scallops! (AJ: got somemore but can't remember, but some of the food eg. maguro sashimi seems like they've stored it for quite sometime till it turns brownish red & cc say the garlic rice abit burnt) smell is good but taste wise needs improvement.. the "chef" who cooked for us is just a kitchen helper cum delivery but they do have a chef but cooking for other tables =P the overall food & service experience so-so only... (AJ: won't go back again unless big improvement on food & service)

memo to APEX Pal:
please do something about your food quality in various restaurants or you'll lose BIG time customers like me! it's really becoming WORST! TQ for reading..

(AJ: gosh~! she's really swift! she was at P.S before that lo~ anyway no more tram.. think late le no more service) finally, saw & picked AP... again catch van heading cafe del mar! well, of course.. next thing we did was... TAKING PHOTOGRAPHS AGAIN! (AJ: *faint* AP didn't want to come unless i've got my cammy with me lo~!) How could we miss this passion of mine eh?

after all the fun & laughter, it's time to go home. we took the last trip back to the beach station & on board the van, there were 2 boys (AJ: think they should be between 20 - 24 y.o)... everyone alighted at the beach station. the boys went off different direction (AJ: they walked behind towards don't know where) while we walked towards the station. suddenly, i thought i heard someone calling from far back... turned my head & guess what?! the boys waved at us & say bye bye~ (AJ: can't hear what the boys are saying.. guess they wanted to befriend CC? *LOL*) we not bad eh.. still got boys want make friends with us lo~ (AJ: actually, they not bad looking also la) *hahahaa...* =p when we reached vivo, we took cab home.

Boring Saturday...

was at home all alone.. someone pressed the doorbell & knocked on the door. hmm... it was my neighbour who lives at 5th floor came to pick up his car keys from me (AJ: he just came back from HK) well, i was still in my pyjamas & hair was in a mess... really felt no xing xiang lo~ =/

AP & i were supposed to meet up with Elise for some shopping & coffee session... do not know why.. end up never meet (AJ: can't remember already) was at home till late evening in the end. met up with bear bear & decided to have our dinner at G5 - frog porridge. sms-ed with AP & arranged to meet up with her & dan at Lau Pat Sat for dessert at 2330 hr.

PC Show (12 - 15 Jun 08) & My New Toy!

Nothing much today in office except for the second day of my 2 courses. Andrew came to tell me today is the start of PC Show at Suntec City & told me to go flip the newspapers. Flipped through the newspapers, nothing much duh. Saw this page introducing the now in the trend mini laptops! Hmmm.. was very tempted to get the HP mini note but not sure how much is it. Went to surf HP's webbie, cost less than 1K (AJ: the home & home-office model)! Asked Andrew if he will be going for the PC show today.. he said can ar~ reminded him to call me when he is leaving for PC show after work & at the same time, got to know that AP will be going for the PC show too with her friend.

Looking at the clock ticking slowly, 1730 hrs finally came... noticed Andrew standing outside his cubicle 'signalling' to me to go off! *LOL* Asked AP if she wants to leave with us for the PC Show, she asked "how are we going?" Told her if she wants to come along... "of course take cab la!" hahaha... At the same time, realised that CL is also heading to Suntec City, so the 4 of us shared cab (AJ: cab fare - $4 per person).

Arrived at Suntec City, CL went separate way to find his girlfriend. AP, Andrew & myself took the escalator up to the halls. We walked & walked.. it was sooo packed~ & best is we do not have any idea in mind what we want to get! =P So we just walked around aimlessly. While walking around, the thought in me to get a card reader that has the ability to read M2 card. Looked at one booth, the card reader that reads M2 costs $16.90 (AJ: almost wanted to buy & Andrew say walk around first la) & I put it back. We continued walking for some time, AP's friend called & she went to meet her friend & accompany her to exchange a LCD monitor because there are alot of scratches by the frame! Andrew & I continued walking & looking around. Saw this card reader, costs only $10 & the design + color is nicer than the first one & ended up I bought 2 (AJ: 1 for Mao & 1 for myself), luckily didn't buy from the first booth.

2030 hrs - Met up with AP & friend, Hui Jing... Andrew left & went home for dinner. The 3 of us continued walking around.. AP & friend wanted to get digital camera for themselves & we went to Canon booth to take a look. They wanted to get an IXUS, I asked them if they are confirm buying & yes was the answer. Hence, I thought to myself... "ok lo~ since you girls are getting, I'm also getting but SONY!~ *wink* 2 of them heard me saying Sony, suddenly have second thoughts & we decided to visit Sony's booth to take a look (AJ: don't need to look la... for sure I'll be getting Sony). There were 3 models I'm looking at, I was browsing & testing & can't decide which one to get. When I finally decided on the model, AP & HJ 'disappeared' (AJ: they went back to Canon's booth because PC Show closes at 2100 hrs *LOL*). Luckily they went back to Canon else they'll have to come back another day to buy! Both of them ended up with Canon IXUS at around $600 + (AJ: think they bought the same model) & I bought Sony Cybershot T70 at $499 (AJ: always wanted to get a newer version of digital camera yet ended up getting lappy & camera handphone last year) not sure if I bought it on impulse? =P

We left PC Show at about 2140 hrs, walked to the carpark & ride in HJ's car for dinner. We decided to settle for dinner at HK Cafe at 378 East Coast Road (AJ: Operating hrs - 6 pm to 3 am).

Slept very 'early' last night (AJ: nearly 0400 hrs)... don't know why I couldn't wake up for work today (AJ: never been me). BearBear called my mobile at 0655 hrs yet can't feel it (AJ: I did answer & even spoke to him!) & unconsciously went back to sleep. I even remembered very clearly that I was still enjoying myself in La-La Land dreaming, thinking that I am still on leave! =P

At 0705 hrs, the telephone in my room rang... *RING RING~ RING RING~*...

Daddy: "STILL SLEEPING? STILL DON'T WANT TO WAKE UP?!"
AJ: "waaant... but what time is it now?"
Daddy: "ALREADY 7 am plus le!"
AJ: "WHAT?! Ok Ok!!!"

I quickly jumped off bed & went to wash up & prepare for work!!! =P

Back to work today (AJ: sianz... =/) & all 3 courses on are mine (AJ: haven't been running my courses of my own perview for long cos of different venues, meetings etc.). There are only 3 of us in the morning & 4 of us in the afternoon for the entire working day! (AJ: shiok right?) HT was at The Chevrons (AM) & will be back (PM) & the rest at OBS (AM) & after that they'll be at SAFRA Toa Payoh for meeting (PM) & won't be back for the day! *hehehe*

Went for lunch with CC at one of my fave jappy restaurant at Vivo City - SUSHI TEI!!! (AJ: yummy~!) Well, as usual... ordered my never to be missed "Sashimi Salad w/ Sushi Tei Dressing & Sashimi" and this time others. After makan, went to buy earrings (AJ: forgot to put on earrings when i left for work), accompanied CC to bank on her iBanking password thingy and then headed back to office. *boring*

Time passed soooo slowly... sitting at my desk working (AJ: didn't really work la... slacked & nua-ed) till afternoon 'teabreak'. CC brought a box of tarts with compliments by Ah Yong & shared with me. Looking at the tarts... weird & small to me. Tried the tarts... hmm... nice wor. CC said it's chocolate cheese tart but Ah Yong supposed to bring blueberry cheese duh. *LOL* Told CC to tell Ah Yong next time bring blueberry cheese tart~ hahaha... Also had mini cupcake replica (AJ: not as nice as chocolate cheese tart). Don't feel like doing anything after that, ended up playing with my hair! *LOL (AJ: it's been long since i last tie my hair! Nice? =P)

After work, went to meet Linda for dinner with CC... took a cab & meeting point is at DFS Orchard. CC & I reached, skarli Linda still in office... so CC & I went to shop in MNG & Isetan while waiting for Linda. At last, Linda came... shopped around Isetan & saw some interesting earrings & I bought for CC & myself & then headed off to DFS.

After our shopping at DFS, we decided to settle down for dinner. Can't decide what to eat & where to eat. The girls asked me.. & as usual my reply "Jap lo" *LOL* hahaha.. (AJ: never ask me where for meals, my answer you know where) We walked to Wasabi Tei.. Q was SUPER LONG! Ended up, we flagged a cab & we made up our mind to go to Newton. Don't know why... we ordered alot of food... that Linda kept saying hungry hungry want to order this order that.. end up eat so little lo~ that CC quite sporting la, order what & eat almost anything we ordered! We also made new friend on this night.. a pretty lady from stall number 74 - friendly, yakky, joker, approachable, helpful & much more~ Best is she gave 3 of us nicks - CC = Ah Huey; AJ = Ah Lian; Linda = Ah Zhu!!! *muahahaha* Linda was so shocked & don't know if she should flare up or just accept it as a joke lo! *LOL* This pretty lady very nice... told me to declare her name when I visit the ladies so I can access for free (AJ: the toilet requires entry payment)... anyway when I reached the washroom also nobody 'jagar' lo. Left Newton Circus at 0012 hrs... & headed home.

Yo PEEPS! Finally done with my exams for this Sem 1/08! Whooooopeeeee!

Freedom alas for now! *LOL* For your info, my position now is just opposite my office, at the heavy vehicle carpark doing up this post (AJ: did anyone say i 'bo liao'?) well, my exam venue this time is at Bt Merah Central that previous HDB Podium B lo~ =P

What am I doing now? Waiting for the 2 monkeys; AP & Elise... going to chauffuer them home la, bathe la, make-up la, take barang barang la.. blah blah blah... (AJ: 'bi wo hai yao ma fan') and then dinner.

Hmm.. what have I been doing today? (AJ: haven't been sleeping since yesterday till now.. PANDA eyes le.. @@) Nothing but studying! (AJ: also useless.. cos brain didn't want to absorb) Have been spraying vapouriser on my pretty face the whole night making sure I don't doze off!

Finally, reached old HDB carpark at 1150 hrs, so lucky to have met a nice guy who allow me to park (AJ: think he saw me going thru my notes in car while waiting for lot, thinks he thought i'm late for exams... haha) thanks anyway! After that, had lunch at McDonald's; Filet-O-Fish w/o sauce + regular Coke Light, did some re-capping & meet my doom! =P

Went in for exam... this time the room named "Turnbull", has nice blue by one-side of the wall. Reading time 10 mins... PENS UP exactly at 1340 hrs! Well, still deciding on which question to attempt =P (AJ: anyway, every question look aliened to me... seems like they know me BUT i don't know them!) Sat in the exam room till the end... asked my mates how they find the paper.. all of them said: "don't know la.. just heck & whack la! (AJ: phew~ think i'm normal) *LOL* ;)

Tomorrow's Paper - International Marketing

Just realised my pens running out of ink! Hence, went to buy pens for my last paper in Sem 01/08... hard to find 'my pen' - the "PAPERMATE KILOMETRICO"! Very cheap, smooth, speedy, sleek & chic... so far increased by 10 cents (AJ: bookshop selling at 40 cents & I always use it in my exams!). Wanted to buy med pt but don't know why only have fine pt.. still bought it in the end + 3 more pens by RedLeaf, 70 cents only (AJ: RedLeaf = Hong Yeh?) hahaha.. got a guy named Hong Yeh at my workplace.. he is a cute & farney guy la always kena 'interrogated' by me when talking to him over the telephone (AJ: if got chance, snap a photograph of him & I'll upload it =P ).

Decided to go for porridge... skarli end up go eat the chee-nah mutton soup, hokkien mee, sambal fried rice (AJ: Sheesh.. putting on weight le.. gotta lose tons of kilos after exams) & bought a box of New Moon's Essence of Chicken with Cordyceps at S$17 (AJ: always get myself 'drunk' with 3 raw bottles before heading for exams!).

(AJ: Nat Ho all the way!) *Grinz* Hmm.. don't know what's taking Body Shop sooooooooooo freaking long on my membership card (AJ: got pay $$$ one lo~), going to call and chase after them after my peak period.
