today is our so-called self-proclaimed 'Excursion'! a day before, we were discussing on the dress code... cool & casual =) *yay*

Ah Kel came with Donney in his car to pick me up & we had breakfast below my house before setting off to Punggol End Jetty. when we arrived at the carpark, rang Jian Hao & he couldn't join us as he was not 'feeling well' & will be on 'MC' duh~ =x we were issued name tags which i thought it was good as previously they did not prepare name tags for us.

in the end, only the 4 of us - FA, Ah Kel, Donney & me went to the Outward Bound Professionals!!! (AJ: OBP here we come!) the weather was super hot & sunny. the sun was scorching brightly & hot up there in the sky shining above us! well, poor Ah Kel... he wore a knitted cotton long sleeves top! (AJ: it is hot de lo... cannot understand why he can take it..) we boarded the ferry, enjoying the beautiful sea & scenary...

the journey was approximately less than 10 minutes & soon we arrived at Ubin Camp 1. we were being welcomed & then followed by a orientation tourage of the camp led by Boon Wee showing us around on the facilities as well as the prgrammes OBP offers... =)

LOL... anyway, non of us got it right.. given the time was so short & there were alot of 'Red Indian Chiefs' which i hated! finally, the whole thing ended... it was somewhat a relieve... we took the ferry back to land...

*yawns* it was just another weekend of the week. nothing to do... simply slack my weekends off. slept slept slept... net net net... =P chilled myself in the air-con room, really can't bear with the weather out there! did not want to do anything, cos it was really warm out there! (AJ: well, had tons of stuffs to do at home duh!)

hmm... decided to wash my clothes. threw my clothes into the washing machine, slacked on the bed while it was still in the wash... dozed off! *LOLz*

woke up the next day to shine the clothes, luckily no damp-type of smell on my clothes. still smell FRESH! hee~ =) went back to sleep... woke up, wanted to make dinner & ended up going to Sheng Siong Supermarket at Taman Jurong! (AJ: it was really far!) shopped for food stuffs for steamboat, home necessities & went to my fave BBQ chicken wing (located behind old Keat Hong camp) coffeeshop for dinner.

woke up in the morning, opened my eyes... starring at the ceiling thinking if i should jump off bed & prepare for work or to go on MC. hmm... can't decide, closed my eyes & went back to sleep for another half an hour. thought thru in my sleep & decided not to go work le... was down with a terrible bad cough, sore throat & flu =( erm... H2N2? *LOLz...*

well, sms-ed wp & ah gal that i will not be going to work today. gonna give the Jul 09's touch time organised by Bev & Tai Ling a miss! hais.... (AJ: sorry ladies... my condition was really really bad~) =( went back to sleep... received quite a number of calls & sms-es from people who cares about me asking about my condition (AJ: thanks...) but it was rather disturbing duh (AJ: you know who you are? anyway, thanks for the 'stuff') cos i need to rest more before i could wake up & make my way to the doc.

at last, woke up at 1000 hr... washed up, bathed & changed & drove to the doc in Bishan (AJ: went back to this doctor/clinic cos i find the medicine effective) but i was being referred to another doctor as the main doctor is rushing off *sians* after seeing the doctor. as usual, i requested for the liquid kinda of medicine instead as pills cos i simply hate pills! they are hard to swallow! bought bubble tea, my fave peach green... & went for lunch. had fish soup porridge & went back home to rest.

16th July 2009, Thursday

Nic was at Depot Rd for the e-HR thingy. met her during AM tea-break & arranged with her for lunch at rocky master where i had strawberry cheesecake + a can of coke zero. not long later, wp, mx, bev, cc & ah gal joined us. we had a long chat with lots of laughter! LOLz... i can tell from Nic's facial expression that she is enjoying herself with us yakking away with her! hahahaha...

after lunch, did my mid-year appraisal. it started at about 1430 hr, which is a very super duper looooooooooooong session & eneded at about close to 1700 hr!!! (AJ: amazing right? i also don't know what we talked which took us this long!) perhaps this is due to the change of my appointment & job area ba... anyway, nothing big deal to mention about & 'i am still who i am' & nothing has changed so far i guessed... in fact, i was trying my best to stay awake YET wp caught me dozing off! hahaha.... don't care le la, die jiu die lo...

came out from appraisal at about 1710 hr. suddenly, i was caught in between some problems which caused me to be very upset. not long later, prolly around 1730 to 1745 hr, i started to feel that i have been extremely chilling cold~ *trembles* i stood at my seat for a while... started to feel my mucus dripping out from my nose! eeeeeeeeeeeeeeks.... i know... hahahaha... & here comes mr sore throat & some other symtoms which i am also not sure what has infected me... & finally, i fell sick~

got home, took some cough syrup praying that my throat will not be affected! =O went online for a moment, suddenly felt that the medicine was taking effect on me... (AJ: weird thing is the cough syrup is so strong till it concusses me making me feel drowsy with my eyes shutting!) blogged abit, FB-ed abit & went to pig pig cos really can't take it le...

woke up today with my left eye starting to turn slightly red =< with right side of my head suffering from a tremendous splitting headache!!! (AJ: awww... never in my life splitting headache & this indeed is SPLITTING!) was thinking if i should continue to go work or go on MC. hmmm... well well, wanted to go on MC but thinking of the work waiting for me i ended up going for work. reached office at about 0908 hr (AJ: was thinking if 'she' were to comment me hard, i'll just go get MC~) surprisingly, never hear her comment or ask for me so so... i am SAFE??? hmm... =I anyway, was really busy with plentiful of work *sians...*

the long awaited... lunch time!!! *yay!* well, too much work to do lately, hence, we had lunch at tower A's canteen where i had ban mian (AJ: i love the soup, it is delicious! especially when i scooped 5 tablespoons of vingered chilli sauce into it!) *roar* =) *winkz* hehehe... back to office & continued with my work *Zzz~*

well, time really flies. Bev, MokerZin, Ah Kel, Ah Gal & myself, we were prepping to go over to Sun Lobby to hold our programme for the evening called ''百万大歌星'' in celebration of AP's birthday which comes with 3 mystery gifts as prizes for her birthday! we came up with this idea cos we thought by giving AP a gift is rather boring & no memories. so we thought of this programme giving us lots of fun, laughter & of course, sweet memories! =D the following are the roles of the respective production team: -

Emcee: Ah Gal (Chinese Ver), Bev (English Ver), Me (Impromptu Ver)
Judge: MokerZin (all segments)
Lifelines: Angela Zhang, William Soh, Britney Spears, Faye (F.I.R)

we also have 2 guest singers for the programme:-

Cece as Angela Zhang (亲爱的那不是爱情)
Pat as William Soh (duet with Angela Zhang - 明明白白我的心)

both the guest singers were also part of the programme where both of them got to experience the JAE Entertainment's version of the ''百万大歌星'' hahaha... Angela was so lousy that she do not even remember the lyrics of her own song! =x as for William Soh, too confident la... erm... think better not comment much.

well, before we kick start the programme... all of us were playing around scaring & splashing water at one another till most of us got wet including me! (AJ: shucks lo... i was wet cos of CC, she 'pa jiao' splash the water on me instead of the guys!) it was a wholesome programme which lasted from 1830 hr to 2100 hr. finally, AP made it for the programme which entitles her to choose an envelope of her choice as her gift in the form of a prize. all of us were praying really hard that AP would choose the envelope with the prize - 'Professional Shoot Package'!!! hahaha... & indeed! she got it! *LOLs* with a very stunned look! (AJ: erm... the stunned here not referring to 'stunning' hor... hahaha... AP pai seh ar? joking la!)

left office at about 2120 hr, took SBS 195 & had dinner at MOS Burger & then home sweet home! =)

well, all of us had so much fun & i believe AP too! i bet this must be her most fun & special birthday celebration in her 24 years! we even made AP record her thank you speech for Ah Kel & Ah Gal cos they left early =P nevertheless, AP hope you enjoyed this programme specially designed & tailored to you! =)

got news from Lionel on our graduation... i.e. Thursday, September 10 (Singapore) @ The Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore! finally, this day is going to come... you know what? i have never thought that i am and can be a graduate cos i never liked studying ever since primary 3! =P (AJ: sad thing rite?)

*yawns* -_- as usual, gonna be late for work again... =P this time smart already, not gonna waste my $$$ to cab to work instead took train to work (AJ: same timing & yet save more $$$ lo!) well, have been spending alot on cab previously, gotta watch my pocket now on... =x

reached office, the first thing for me is to meet up with wp & mx to debrief on our meet up with Val from UC, RSAF... followed up with Manoj & Val. well well, not much time left anyway, cos celebrating AP's birthday at branch level soon. suddenly, i got this funny idea on how to give AP a surprise & her birthday gift "co-sponsored" by MokerZin, Ah Kel, Ah Gal, Bear & Me!!! i came up with 3 fantastic prizes!

hmm... having AP's birthday lunch in the afternoon at Swensen's located at Chinatown area (AJ: can't remember the name of the building!) took lots of photographs while waiting for our food (AJ: i had sambal ribeye steak!) to be served & also after our meals! *YuMMy Yum Yum!* hahaha... we ordered ice-cream cake for AP, topped with Disney characters which has my Donald Duck on it! =D i purposely requested AP for Donald's face for my share & i got it which i took alot of photographs of it with me! (AJ: thanks AP!)

back in office by 1400 hr. tried to settle down to start working but was called quite a few times by colleauges (PEs) on their work... =P end up, did not really have time to do my work duh~ *hais*

finally, it was knock-off time. having dinner w my family along Zion Rd but was closed, daddy wanted to go there for crabs, crabs & crabs! *LOLz* (AJ: too bad~) in the end, we ended up dining at David's stall which we or rather they ordered quite alot of food!

chatted with David trying to catch up what we have missed out on one another, daddy was enjoying himself chatting away with Ian & Jeremy & then, at las, saying it is time to go home! Jeremy showed daddy someone decoratives he bought it from China, i got the pastal purplish-pink de... do not know where to hang but can tell that daddy likes it alot so i just accepted the gift from Jeremy. afterwhich, we bidded David goodbye & we went back home.

sheesh... do not know what is wrong with my sony memorystick, out of a sudden my lappy prompted formatting is required in order to access the memorystick! argh... guess i may have to format it & i am going to lose all my stuffs saved on the memorystick!

hmm... why is it that we need to format it? anyone know the reason? erm.. anyone know how i can revive it as well? thanks in advance!

woke up, had lunch & deciding what to do later. niece wanted to go shopping for clothes yet never bring her purse & ez-link card! (AJ: win le lo...) anyway, we drew lots & the result is to go orchard for shopping... bathed, changed, made myself pretty pretty & we were ready to go! took MRT instead, did not want to drive cos it is a Sunday & i think driving in town is a CHORE! =P we walked walked walked... shopped shopped shopped... ate ate ate... & the guys came to pick us up & made our way to bugis for more shopping & food!

spent the whole day shopping... niece bought a bubble skirt from Topshop, 2 vests from This Fashion; & i bought a vest from This Fashion too! (AJ: hmm... so unlike me!) hahaha... settled for dinner at ajisen, had ramen & some ala-carte dishes & ice lemon tea! afterwhich, sent them home & then home sweet home to rest...

went to bed only at 0500 hr plus this morning (Fri > Sat)... nevertheless, i slept throughout the whole good morning till evening (AJ: of course, in between wakey sleep wakey sleep la~) & then got up & prepare for family birthday dinner at a chinese restaurant named 'L*i W*h' located somewhere at bendemeer. went to fetch F.T & hubby, & Wendy to the restaurant. everyone arrived at the restaurant. this time round, we have a guest... mom's new 'godson' from her previous workplace. this 'godson' is from China, same age as me =P & what is best... mom do not know how he became her 'godson'! *LOLz* anyway, as usual... E.T is always the one entertaining guests... & me? as usual, concentrate on my food! hahahaha....

coming back to the topic on our dinner, the food was so so only & the service there sucks! yet do not understand why the media kept doing advertising on the newspaper, programme show etc. promoting this restaurant... (AJ: prolly that is why they do not have 10% service charge impose) & the manager-in-charge is a cheena =P time passes fast, we do not know that this restaurant closes at 2200 hr! & no wonder... they kept pushing our food out from the kitchen, clearing the dishes on our table & keep asking if we are done >=( anyway, do not want to continue about this restaurant le... cos it is really not worth the trip & money!

finally, the cake is brought out... & as usual, can tell that the service staffs are watching us giving us looks asking us to hurry off! could not really be bothered with their lousy attitude and service, we continued to sing birthday song, blow candle, cut cake, distribute cake & photo-shots! & we made our way home.

got a call from his niece asking if they can stay over my place, went to pick them up from home... me & niece wanted to go karaoke whilst the guys visits LAN shop for maple *boring* niece & i waited for so long for a carpark lot outside the karaoke place & decided to change location... we went to the Singapore Arts Museum instead for the night flea-market. nothing much duh... stuffs where not as cheap as it is supposed to be in a flea-market. not tempting at all.. many shops closed quite early, prolly cos it was the last night already. then, decided to go home sleep.

am on 'vesak day' PH off leave today, need to clear it before Aug & decided to use it to pick up wendy from the airport. went to the airport with F.T, mom & him to pick wendy from hong kong. went back home in bishan... ate a lill.

today is also the birthdays of mom & F.T! (AJ: HAPPY BIRTHDAY!) drove them to mustafa shopping centre to look for earrings cos mom likes it alot... spent hours & hours... looooooooooong hours at mustafa till i felt like vomitting~ =P went for dinner cum supper at tpy lor 6... had oyster egg & char kway teow... sent them both home.. & home sweet home...

hmm... met up with Ah Gal for breakfast before heading for PLAB on our course on Buzan xxx for them. we decided to just have our breakfast at the coffeeshop under my house where we both each had 2 half-boiled eggs, chatted a while on the happenings in office the past few days... & drove off to PLAB. well well, air force chaps are always my fave... cos they are always very dynamic, willing to learn & friendly people! =) (AJ: sorry army & rsn... hardly encounter you guys/ gals... don't mean it =x )

both of us helped in the final setting of the classroom while participants slowly walked in. again, saw this personnel & his fave tagline on me is "hmm... i think i know you... but i just can't remember where i saw you... hmmm" (AJ: well, this is not the first time lo, last year he said the same thing to me... what a pick up line?) which i told him ya ya... this is not the first time you said this to me... =P

ah gal sat thru the whole session while i sat thru the morning session... went to pass some stuffs to my working friend from PLAB & at the same time visited her workplace to have a better understanding of her workplace environment. well, her NSF K.S was on off... too bad did not get a chance to see him in person even though saw him thru FB~ *LOLz* & got to know K.S's understudy G.Ang (AJ: nice meeting you!) this chap is super cute & interesting, loves to interact & going to the gents, smoke to slack his time away! hahaha... well, while i was chatting with my friend along the corridor... her colleagues thought that i am their new colleague & luckily me & her are good actresses where we managed to fool them all just because we can just co-ordinate & blend in so naturally! *LOLz* lunched with ah gal at the canteen besides the officer & spec mess... the sitting area was filled with sunlight & both of us were trying to find a seat where there is no sunlight! (AJ: did not know PLAB personnel love the sun so much?)

left PLAB to CMPB to pick up 'Ms Bad Weather' & mx for meeting at 1400 hr on Cardinal at TAB. was waiting for quite awhile behind along the main road all because 'Ms Bad Weather' is reply her emails!~ (AJ: think what? i drive porshe ar? even so... also can't speed lo! TP will catch lo!) sians... after meeting, she kinda hinted me to drive them to city hall area where both of them is having some ndp networking session (AJ: please lo... i not your 'ahmad' hor) BZD!!! end up, we went tpy hub for snacks at MOS Burger where i gave them a treat =P & they left after 1 hr.

went dinner at W.T with him... shopped abit & went home to rest... *yawns*

wth wth wth~!!! sorry peeps but really wth?! it is the third day of this week... was in 'Ms Bad Weather's' office in discussion with Bev for sometime. soon after, 'Ms Bad Weather' called for FA & me (AJ: was thinking what is she up to next?) & she started off her opening sentence with... "i guess you gals should know what i am upset with with the both of you" (AJ: shucks! wdut? i was like mentally prepared by then after hearing this sh*tty opening of hers...) & there she goes... 'gunning' FA & me all the way like nobody's business! *$%^&$%#* well, at first i was like wth? do we both deserve such a sh*tty session from you? & what has it got to do with us? she even said we triggered her & 'pressed' her 'HOT' button!!! i was bearing with all her 'gunning' on us until... some incidents where i find it's RIDICULOUS of her to put it on me & like myself, if i am being WRONGED, i will speak up to clear my name! (AJ: don't really care how she looked at me... i did no wrong & why should i be wronged?) well, it was a looooong story la... i also do not wish to spell it out here word by word & anyway, to me it was just a one ear in the other ear out lecturing session from her... *gosh!* guess what? both of us were being 'gunned' by her for almost an hour & we standing in front of her... i was like keep looking at the clock & thinking of lunch! hahahaha... really hated her for these... told myself to keep my cool but too bad... i am who i am... accept it or hate me! (AJ: too bad! i am not a kitten.. i roar!)

alas... the 'gunning' session is over, went for lunch at RM. received a call from my colleague to inform we have a suspect h1n1 close contact case & their side is doing record tracing~ *awwwww~* (AJ: so 'lucky' right? lottery also never so 'zhun' lo!) realised it was nothing big duh... just need to be kept on the happenings etc.

well, all thanks to the 'gunning' lecture that i have to work till very late to clear my stuffs cos i will not be in tomorrow and after. left office for dinner with bev, cc & 1420 to TPY Lor 8. had porridge with mixed dishes, chicken wings, black carrot cake (AJ: ohh... i love this stall's! yummy~ it is delicious & cheap!) , fruit juice... went abit of walk walk at the pasar malam across the street, bought 2 packets of 'wheeled' shape crackers & accompanied bev to the interchange for MRT while i walk back... (AJ: phew! tomorrow's a day out for me with Ah Gal... at least do not need to see 'her' black ragged face!) LOLz...

it is just another working day. hmm... but for don't know whatever reason 'Ms Bad Weather' is showing me her temper for the second day *sheeshhh... wth~* today, FA is back at work... i have been busy since morning with e-HR meeting on the verification of data for the whole of the morning, lunch and then meeting (AJ: can't recall what meeting was it le =P) well, got sms-es from FA about her 'happenings' at work... it was kinda tragic between her encounter with 'Ms Bad Weather' till she wanted to give up! (AJ: hey FA, you are not alone lo...) and well well, we were both thinking like wth??? do we deserve such treatment from her? guess i was packed the whole of today thus did not have many chances of encountering that 'Ms Bad Weather'... whatever la, who cares?

tried to leave office on the dot cos of the stormy weather these 2 days. ended up, left office by 1900 hr with CC, ride on bus -> MRT -> Causeway Point for dinner & shopping. had MOS Burger for the second day consecutively!!! *HAHAHA* shopped at Metro & I.L.T *Hmmm...* we bought clothes and many clothes~ *LOLz* i bought myself a cream-white bubble jumper dress & a tuxedo!!! =)

was having quite a 'bad' migraine last night. hmm... haven't had migraine for years duh~ i was thinking if i should go work. ended up, i went to bed early hoping the migraine would just subside =( (AJ: ouch!) well, i guess the migraine was too much for me that caused me to wake up at 0730 hr!!! quickly, i jumped off my bed, washed myself, changed & make myself pretty pretty for work! =P

left home, looking at my watch... thinking if i should cab to work or bus to work *think think* decided to bus to work cos don't know why, there is a massive jam on the PIE =I (AJ: lucky never cab to work lo... else i can't imagine the fare!) hais... anyways really can't afford to spend this kind of money on cab (AJ: my pay peg is terribly miserable! wdut i should do to curb this problem???) aiya, don't know la... if one day really can't afford le may consider for a change (AJ: can't blame me, i also need to live, eat & pamper myself ya? can't be i work so hard & yet can't enjoy myself rite?) anyways, walk one step see one step ba~ =I

the 'weather forecast' in office today was super grey... for nothing i kinda got 'it' from her... (AJ: wth~?) FA was on urgent leave cos she got headache & woke up at 0800 hr (AJ: hahaha... worst than me!) *LOLz* received sms from FA asking me to email Maj Daniel for updates to our email on training which she forgotten to do it on Friday =P guess what? 'weather' lady had already emailed Maj Daniel for updates in the morning when she arrived office! (AJ: well, never CC: me & FA lo.. so how do we know you already sent? thought u said we must CC: parties involved?) whatever la... she's the boss, so i can't do much =( end up for nothing, i kinda got 'picked' over some lame reasons about my work *sheeesh* this is what the chinese always say 'trying to find and pick bones in an egg' meaning to say, you won't be able to find any bones in an egg cos there isn't bones in an egg in the first place & yet you keep finding!!! *faint* @-@ (AJ: trying hard not to think so much lo)

cabbed for lunch at TBP with Ah Kel, CC & Ah Gal... suddenly Ah Gal said he lost his pass & he could have left it in the cab! Ah Kel & Ah Gal went to trace back the track we walked past etc. hoping to find it, yet to no avail. hence, i rang the taxi company & filed a report on the lost of cards. hmm... don't know why, i got this feeling that his pass could have dropped outside office & some kind souls would pick & return which true enough... this is the case! =) Ah Gal was so relieved when he managed to retrieve his pass back. we had the indonesian pangang at the kopitiam food court, bubble tea-ed after lunch & headed back office. from here, the kana-ing part begins again... *yawns* the conclusion is... i kana for nothing lo! (AJ: don't care don't care... when time comes jiu..)
